been a bit slow the last few days, but i managed to turn my shed from this IMG_3841__40.jpg to this IMG_4110___40.jpg although it took days to make it to this point, theres now room for 180 work.

frack man, I was just wondering the other day about what happened to you and blammo here's the old/ new thread.

    My 2c,
wheels need to be traded with some 17yr old derp for something nicer,

But I cant wait to see you DO something with it hahahaha
Much nicer base to start on and youve set the ball rolling pretty well :yeah: hahah

Unfortunately custom plates increase your gay factor five fold.

    I sense lee spec butthurt.

    My fellow Australians;
Recently we've had many people crying out for change, crying out for SilviaWA to be run differently, and in some cases, just crying.
...After talking to some people though....what you really meant was "We want things to bedone but we want other people to do them for us".

    hahaha thanks,
yeah i did as kev suggested and ran for a little while but im back and plodding along slowly,

got word that my roof spoiler is Here! but trying to organise a time to go get it and some other parts,
ordered a dmax s15 bonnet a couple days ago too, should be here next month :D
and picked up a 240kph cluster today... still not sure if im going to keep it or not, my original cluster had a fracked trip/odometer and this poped up cheap and close,
its also tax time !! so some money should be getting thrown at this thing real soon, but probly not for a couple months as i have some 3 week on 1 week off stints to get through first

Update time and i have since i have a proper internet connection now i also brought pictures :)

ive been slowly collecting parts for the auto>manual conversion but with working away it seems all the good parts are sold by the time i get home, so out of a little frustration and funds from selling other car parts i went to kyp and inquired about a manual conversion kit...

    amen.
flatish face is usually a dead giveaway of fail widths/offsets.

$700... or there abouts, i hesitated alot about buying them but i want it to look perfect, still on the search for a front bar! so i dont have to splash out and get one of those from him too.

thanks for the feedback peoples, the manifold is a no name custom piece from a guy in america i cant remember the company its written down in my scrap book somewhere but my scribbles turn to senseless jargen after a while (: oct 12th 2012 ordered cams frsport... turbo, TURBO.. WHERES MY TIM TAMS?) the collecter is pretty nice and it holds the turbo at a nice angle, but one of the pipes i think no.3 has a bit of sharp bend apart from that no complaints, ill take some more photo's when i go to the shed next,

ive got just one question before i go about ordering new rims and putting these rota's up for sale
using this example im looking at ordering 17x10 rear's and 17x8.5 front for the 180 and i was wondering what offset i need to get them in for a nice fitment?

    EXP:
    18x10 +18 w/ 265/35/r18
~1.6' rear camber, 2' front camber (not adjusted). 1.5cm flare rear, 0.5cm flare front.

soo... last time i had just changed to a manual in the 180. there's been some blank spaces and long times spent up north slaving for others instead of on my cars but now im back, 20130316160212.jpg there it is, the 1580 that is actually now a 1580! im loving it so far this pic is with some guards i started on a couple years back. gaps and edges are pretty good and the bonnet although sitting quite proud on one side is fitting pretty well also :D (there for sale now, come get em :P) 20130317181939.jpg but it just was not good. i counted my pennies and waited, then some black ones showed up and the fitment now is just amazing :) < smiley face. 20130317201617.jpg20130317201559.jpg the rota's are gone! i also picked up some Crow Cams, Denso 550's, an 040, and some bolt on flares but the jury is still at lunch about those thats pretty much were it has stopped again, i bought a house so my focus has been on piecing the 9" back together for my capri and getting that down on its wheels again so we can start moving :( but its not all doom and gloom cause the new place has a bigger shed and there will be alot more shiny parts around in the next update! 9": i just finished putting it in a few hours ago. 20130320161844.jpg Silks out yo.

    * update *

    hey guys

so the car got tuned last week, got to 308.5hwp on the first 18psi power run, second run it dropped to 275 and the motor spun number 1 big end :( motor is out and in pieces i ordered new mains and big ends this morning so hopefully it'll be back together next weekend ready to go back on the dyno.

whats changed, i dumped a few parts

    fiberglass conversion guards

    550cc denso's

    040 (copy pump)

    type x wing

    top mount mani

    etc etc,

    RQML40H.jpg

needed to get serious about finishing this junk as it had been sitting in the shed for 2 years (read 2 years at mums house then 2 years at my house... )

ordered a cometic gasket set and arp studs. replaced the broke bits with new gaskets, fresh head, crow cams, and that shiny rocker cover thats been sitting around in wrapping for years. and it ran finally!

not well or longer than 5 seconds but it ran...

made some ic pipes painted the china inlet mani, plumbed everything back up and took it for a drive.

i put on an s15 tb in hopes of using it for its cold start mechanism not sure if this will actually work?

i replaced the parts listed in the last post with:

    1000cc jec's injectors,

1580 conversion guards (front of s15 guards welded to the rear of 180sx guards fit way better and metal is always better than glass)

255lph walbro pump this will change again when i go e85

standard manifold went back on with the heat shield to keep it looking standard

the wing was just plain ugly so i sold it.

    i also:

cut off everything 180sx near the rad support panel test fitted for hours on end, finally welded it in place the s15 rad support, bought s15 bumper/headlight support panel (makes the front end fit so much better)

tossed the glass bonnet and bolted down a standard s15 bonnet (fitment is getting really good now)

put on the 5 stud s15 knuckles, disc's, calipers and master cylinder.

hicas; pulled all the lines out, removed the wiring, changed the pump for a non hicas one, replaced the rear steer rack with the gktech delete kit.

    z32 installed :)

changed out the disco potato for a gt-rs

put in a exedy cushion button clutch

did a daggy $12 paint job in the engine bay

moved the relay box to where the factory ic sits

removed all the lame sub woofers i put in the boot years ago

    6xajZzh.jpg

i've been playing with bolt on flares, let me know what you think cause i still dont really like them.

    HDzg4vf.jpg

i think that brings us up to date, sil was broke > sil got fixed. sil broke again > sil getting fixed again...

back to the bearing, it spun mid power run looks like it hasn't done too much damage after these photo's i linished the crank and it's about ready to be put back together.

    21olxM6.jpg4r0tTam.jpg

just finished cleaning all the baffles and sump this morning :)

i feel for you bro, i bought a 180 sheetter last year and the first time tried to run her hard she did a bigend.

nows shes all done and fresh tho, i feel a little bit better about boosting the crap out of it.

i like the flares, but i also like them on 4wds.

if your going to run them you need stupid offset rims to fill them, otherwise they are pointless.

i was thinking about getting a set, but i run mine off road with rally tires and i think that would just complete the off road looks

    > for a street / road car im not sure if the flare suit the look.
