So abit of a small update. Today I decided to install my intake runners, rail, injectors ,FPR & AFM. While doing this i replaced gaskets, changed the nuts and bolts to stainless items and cleaned the throttlebody.

I didnt have the correct size heatshrink to cover the red and black ends but ill get that tomorrow then put the plugs on.

So the car went up to Allstar Garage and got the Poncams, Profec B II and the fuel lines to the rail completed. The car made 302hp on 18psi.They had some problems with the Proflow nylon braid and it blew out on the dyno. So the fittings and lines got changed to push on 500 series Aeroflow one. The car is still quiet laggy but comes on boost alright. The power is abit lower than what Im chasing so I've got to work out where to go from here. I've got the feeling the exhaust with its two large mufflers is holding it back alittle. Whats everyones thoughts on 302hp on the hub dyno with the setup I've got...

depends on boost level, most people around here with cams and a 2871 are at 330/340rwhp. Not sure how the allstar dyno reads compared to others.

So the last 2 days I've spent removing the sound deadening out of the boot, cleaning it all up then spraying it in gloss white with the outter skin painted in satin black. I've also removed the 25kg Landrover battery that was in it and Im replacing it when a Deka ETX16L (7.7kg). The next step will be to add a rear strut brace, surge tank and a Bosch 044. When i get a good break off work next I will remove the old carpet, dry ice out the old sound deadening and try KBS Diamond finish in white and coat the floor and wheel arches. Here are some before and after photos:

I guess you see clean cars....and then you see the cars that are really on the higher level. OCD spec levels of clean. There is nothing better than an engine bay that tidy. Props to you for such well modified cars. Very much looking forward to seeing more updates!

    Small update..

    Small update..
I purchased a new battery to replace the Land Rover battery that was in there. It's a Deka ETX16L weighing 7.7kg instead of the 26kg rover battery. I got Josh at MetalCraft to whip up a mount for it which I'm very happy with. I tidied up the cables as well so that the earth is short, bolted onto clean metal & the positive isn't 3 meters longer than needed. I also picked up a second hand strut brace which I wire brushed and sanded back then painted it in etch matt black.

The old purple tint got the boot and it now has new tint running 16% on the rear half and 35% on the front windows. I think if i get a sticker though I'll run the car tintless for something different.
