So the car went up to Allstar Garage and got the Poncams, Profec B II and the fuel lines to the rail completed. The car made 302hp on 18psi.They had some problems with the Proflow nylon braid and it blew out on the dyno. So the fittings and lines got changed to push on 500 series Aeroflow one. The car is still quiet laggy but comes on boost alright. The power is abit lower than what Im chasing so I've got to work out where to go from here. I've got the feeling the exhaust with its two large mufflers is holding it back alittle.
Whats everyones thoughts on 302hp on the hub dyno with the setup I've got...

6Boost manifold should get you up nicely, but the addition of external gate as well will let it breathe properly when on song and really get the numbers pushing.

^ We'll the other night after removing the sound deadening and heater core i could hear a jingley rattle. So after looking for 10 seconds I found the actuator arm, loose rattling against the cotta pin... This has been the case since the week before my tune when the turbo came off to change the gaskets and studs ( I turned the boost down to 10psi at the same time so the lose in power I believed was just the less boost the car was running). So now that I've tightened the arm up abit and watched the boost levels the car drives completely different.. I was very suprised Allstar Garage didnt pick it up and is the reason why boost was coming on so slow and weak for the past couple of months. I plan to upgrade my fuel system and change to e85 when i comes on pump at United so I will get a retune then for alittle more kick. Down the track I will probably run a 6boost and external gate plumbed back in to get rid of the sheetty manifold that it currently has.

The V-band muffler is a great idea! Although I do remember someone talking about doing their whole exhaust in V-band joins. Also, Dave, after your issue I might check my actuator too!

    Small update
Today I've started ordering parts for the new brake setup going onto the sil. Im doing the same setup my GTR which is running and the same as Oz runs. Running Alpha Omega caliper adapters with Evo 8 Brembos, DBA5000 T3 rotors with re drilled hats to 4x114.3 and Ferodo DS2500 pads. The rears will get some loving shortly after. Heres a photo of my 32s setup which will look fairly similar to the 13s. Should help it pull up at Powercruise.

My question is what drugs are you selling? and why ruin the car with a sheetty empire exhaust, everything else is baller.

Lots of seat covers, air fresheners and bottles of oil...
To be honest Im not to sure why i went down the path of buying a empire performance exhaust.. I guess it was a spire of the moment thing. Im happy with the muffler setup at the moment and I think id change a few other things first before changing it again. The Kakimoto muffler is the quietest cannon Ive come across and I've found it awesome to be able to swap between the blast pipes and it within minutes. A quick snap after swaping them over on the weekend..

Yeah I'm the manager of the Mandurah store and have been working for SCA for the past 8 years... The GTR has been no overnight build...If I made serious cash it would be on another level of awesome. ... One day I'm sure though.

So I thought I'd chuck up an update. So I've been collecting parts for this brake upgrade and have finally got around to piecing it together.
I picked up some Brembos of an Evo 8MR. Just like most Brembos on Evos the clear is always peeling off them and these were no different so I got to work with the wet and dry to remove all the clear and removed any scuffs they had. I decided to paint them the same colour as the bottom half of the Silvia and got white logos to match.

The Alpha Omega Caliper adapters. I've dealt with Alpha Omega a few times now and have always received A1 service and a fantastic product.

Being a seller of DBA Rotors, I ordered a new set of DBA 5000 series Evo X rotors for my GTR and the unused 5000series rotors off the 32 are being used for the Silvia.

I decided to remove the knuckles and clean them up and give them a fresh coat of paint. I've also got to get around to striping back the 32R sway bar and getting rid of the funky orange paint.

So my 18" XD9s are too small and the calipers have a slight rub on the inside of the rim. So much of a pain in the ass.. so i ripped the caliper back off and started filing the top edge off. Only a mm needed to come off each side so i started out with a file. I didnt want to just have a chunk taken out of each so I made sure i feathered each side off so they kept a nice shape.

After awhile I was happy with the shape I hit them with sand pads to remove any heavy marks and lines.

I purchased some Ferodo 2500s but got mucked around so much by the seller I ended up getting Bendix SRT through my work and thought they are worth a try. At least the packaging is nice.

I dipped the slides and the metal plate which sits between the pads in Allibrite for acouple of hours and polished them up before installing.

I got some awesome OEM side mirror shades off Matt Hunter. One had a repaired crack in it, both logos were faded and the clear had seen worse for wear but still in good condition. I decided to sand them back with 1500 and high build them up. Finished off with high gloss black and I went down to a local sign writer and got them to make up new Nissan Logos to replace the old.

I dislike my current catch can setup so I purchased this tank which fits in the back right hand corner of the engine bay. I have Aeroflow 510 push fittings with a -10 feed at the bottom of the tank to return the oil back. I've also gone with a push in Proflow fitting to replace the piece.
