So I've been in abit of rush now to get everything back together and tested for Powercruise next weekend. Unfortunatly I havent had any luck being able to get some decent condition GTR Rear Brembos in time so I'm using a HFM rear brake kit for the mean time. The rear rotors go up to 300mm with adapters over the standard 258mm OEM rotors.
I had Perth Brake Parts make up a set of braided lines to replace the old rubber items. While they were at it I had them extended by 4cm to account for the caliper placement. I picked up some Penrite Racing brake fluid through work to flush out the old stuff. The master cylinder has been upgraded from a BM33 to a BM57. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to comment on how it pulls up.

Speaking from experience the holford rotors are junk dude.. start saving for your next pair. Are the dog bones for stock s13 calipers to go to a 300mm rotor? I though the stock skyline/Z twin pistons could fit a 297/300mm rotor.

Where the ones you cracked at collie holford rotors?

Really should stay away from cross drilled all together if you plan on going hard on the brakes periodically. But if you're planning on going to something else it won't really matter.

Yeah they look average. Hopefully will do the job over the next month or so until some Brembos pop up then they'll probably have a similar rotor pad combo to the fronts.

The SRTs are the next model up over ultimates.

I dislike my current catch can setup so I purchased this tank which fits in the back right hand corner of the engine bay. I have Aeroflow 510 push fittings with a -10 feed at the bottom of the tank to return the oil back. I've also gone with a push in Proflow fitting to replace the piece.

So as some of you would already know I went to Powercruise this year with no real issues over the entire weekend. So now that I've had a month to test my brakes in multiple conditions I can happily say I'm chuffed with the performance on the Alpha Omega Brembo conversion. I now hop into my missus Evo 7 with Brembos, fresh rotors, pads and fluids ( It weighs 1530kg my S13 weighs 1110kg ) and it doesnt even come close to the speed the Silvia can pull up. The one thing that I will still be doing is upgrading the rear brakes to GTR Brembo items with DBA T3 rotors. I find in the wet you really notice how easy it is to lock the front up and all the braking power is up the front. The Bendix SRT pads have been surprisingly good. They dont take to much heat to get them to pull up & they aren't noisy like I thought they might be although they are dusty as all hell and the white wheels doesn't help much.

Sunday Morning at Powercruise it threw the power steering belt off. Seeing as it doesn't run AC I decided that I will mount the power steering pump in the lower AC position. I've ordered a Taarks pump relocation kit and plan to remake the high pressure with a tidier black braided line. Im now thinking of changing the pulleys to some ally ones and have them anodized black to match the rest.

Heres a couple of snaps from PC

Easssy. I just put the windows down and put up with it. Most the cars I've owned don't have it or I've removed it to save weight so I guess I'm just use to it.

=8> I've recently jumped onto the E85 bandwagon but there was abit of a journey to get there.

It all started with my 2871R at Powercruise started to make some bearing noise... I wasn't planning on upgrading to a GTX just yet as I'd change the manifold, dump and pipes to suit. So i needed a turbo to do the job for the time being. I picked up a Tomei Arms M7960 and bolted her up with new gaskets. While I was at it I tidied up the wiring on the passengers side and re routed them through and under the front guard. It was quiet an easy job and while I was at it I removed wires that were not required.
    Posted Image

My power steering pump was off a Ca18 as I found out when i had a closer look so I replaced it with a Sr20 pump and picked up a Taarks Pump relocation kit to mount it where the old AC was.

    Fuel System Upgrade
The car already had ID1000s and a intank Walbro 255 pump so I needed a little more juice for E85. I started by getting a Works Engineering Surge tank from Vision R. Coupled with another two Walbro 255 pumps to be submerged in the 2L tank. I got Josh at Metalcraft to make up a panel to mount the tank and battery onto. While he was at it I had feet welded onto the tank with threads so I could easily attach it to the panel. Under the car I ran two lines of -6 to the rail and used the standard feed and return lines as the fuel returns. The feed lines all have psuh lock fittings and tech flex covering them for that extra protection.
Josh came out and bent up all the black anodized hard lines which I think came up a treat. I also stripped back my fuel tank with the wire wheel and gave it some fresh paint and cleaned up the plastics which go around it.
