Well the issue is if your stock ones are f**ked, or you cant make any more power due to poor spark from your coilpacks, then you would need to change them.

Wasn't there a bad batch of splitfires going around, since they moved production to a different factory? From memory that is...

Or you could go x4 HEC715 Bosch Coilpacks ($55 ea), half the price. Same setup used by MicroJUNK.

Ive seen 500+rwhp with stock coils and even run them in Ashlys S14A Racecar.
Keep away from the Crap red Jobbies out now.

You should be able to pick up a stock set a helluva lot cheaper than 450... and have you tried gapping the plugs yet? Had this same problem on my rb25 powered r31 and gapped my BCPR6ES's down from 1.1 mm to 0.6 mm and they are sweet as now.

Otherwise have a look at performance-wise on ebay, he is selling yellow jacket re-man coils and they are fairly awesome (especially for the price)

I've been hunting for the part numbers high and low, no luck yet. (for stock coilpacks) Ive found the stock loom for new however.

Imo prob just go splitfires if u can get them for $550.

Well as many people here have said, stay with the stock stuff, unless you truly have to have that splitfire sticker on your car. Investigate a new set of plugs. Bcp6es will do the job, gapped to about .8 for the boost you are running.
