So, been on here for a few years now and thought I should probably do one of these seeing as all the cool kids have one.

Well I bought it in 2009 for 5K, mint condition, manual 1993 S13 with an SR20DE. frack all wrong with it apart from a small patch of paint fade on the roof and a cracked dash. COMPLETELY stock. Not one mod at all.

Gave it a wash the next day and it turned out pretty well. Body was pretty damn straight and paint was in decent condition.

Stayed like this until I had enough money for coilovers. Picked up a set of BC BR series for $1200, back when no one had really heard of them. Around this time the brakes were in need of some attention. Purchased Bendix ultimate pads all round, and DBA slotted rotors for the front. Also bought a cat back somewhere around then.

Didnít really take many photos until I scored some Super Advan Tri Spokes from a mate for $150. 16x7 +32 front and 16x8 +32 rear. Always loved tri spokes even though 99% of people gave me sheet about them. So I got tyres, put them on and drove around for a few months. Unfortunately the car was outside wasn't undercover when the hail hit, so from now on the car had a sheet load of hail dents all over it.

Went to Rising Sunday and surprisingly didnít get yellowed. By now the roof had faded a sheetload more so at 7pm the night before rising Sunday, I thought it would be a good idea to start rubbing the roof down to paint. By 3am I had installed 20mm spacers all round, painted the roof, lowered the car and rolled the rear guards a tad. Woke up the next morning at 6am and washed the sheet out of it.

The paint job was sheet house I know.

    Posted Image

Drove back to a friends house that was not too far from the rising Sunday meet to take the rear spacers off as I was sick of it rubbing. Snapped 2 studs on the spacers so ended up leaving the rear spacers off for a while.

Not much happened for ages after that, until I started getting really bored with the SR20DE powerhouse and decided to slap in a turbo sr. Shopped around for a bit and decided that I would buy a half cut, just so I had everything there to swap straight over.

    Scored a 1998 Type x non vct blacktop SR20DET for $3200.

Came with a genuine GP Sports front bumper and an uncracked dash :D

Over next week or two a few mates and I swapped over the motor and gearbox over.

Come into a few problems like fuel pump needed upgrading, wouldnít spark due to no relay wired in for the coilpacks and some 11:30pm Ė 3am struggles to get the gearbox in. (thought it was a good idea to put the gearbox in separate to motor under a car on jackstands, fracking stupid I know)

Finally got it running and the battery light started coming on whilst on boost. Bought a new alternator ready to swap it over, went to take the plugs out and realised one wasnít plugged in properly, put it in properly and everything was fine. Installed a hybrid gt2 front mount intercooler not long after that (one piece hot side and cold side piping ;D).

Bought an R32 GTR drivers seat, dildo gear knob, Grip Royal steering wheel, boost tee, apexi el boost gauge and finally found a ca lip sometime throughout all that too. Bumped it up to 12psi and had some fun.

On my birthday in 2012 I did the SilviaWA Dome Day. Bought some 595ss for the front and got a wheel alignment. IT was my first track day ever so I was pretty nervous to be honest. Few laps in started to get the hang of it and started pushing myself a bit. Havenít done anything since but Iím pretty keen to get back out there :)

Again nothing happened, drove it around, blah blah blah.

Got a text from Craig Macmillan one morning saying someone is selling a set of Advan Oniís in 17x8 -1 all round. Text the guy that morning to which he replied there was someone already coming to pick them up. Get a text that arvo saying the sale fell through and if I picked them up the night heíll take $400, so half an hour later I had these bad boys in my possession!

The clear coat on the lips had started to peel, so spent many hours wet sanding and polishing the lips back to their formal glory. Put some 215/45 tyres on and put them on the car. Finally getting rid of the spacers was a good feeling and the car finally started to look decent.

Moved house and had to take the lip off to get up my driveway, installed an exedy 3 puk and this is pretty much how it stands now.

Well thatís about it. Have heaps more planned but who doesnít! :D

Massive thanks to everyone that helped me get it to where it is today. Especially scotty (not sure if he's on the forum) and blair (flatbrim) for helping me with the engine swap and clutch install and the many small things in between!

I've think I've missed a few things out, so this will eventually be updated :)

Thanks :) Haha, that didn't take long. Most people don't like them, but I've got a soft spot for them for some weird reason.
