just wondering if anyone has done this before?

the abs plugs that connect to the unit above where the ecu sits are different...has anyone found away around this or do i need to find adm wiring and be done with it?

any help would be appreciated!!

I bought my car 5 years ago and only recently started to get it to where i wanted it to be, along the way made some stupid mistakes and trusted the wrong people to work on the car. I wont get into those details but i know where i' ll be taking my business in future.

Started off with a low k motor, custom leather interior, front mount, exhaust, boost controller and custom paint.

The paint job may not be to everyone's enjoyment but i don't care and i' ve always had the intentions off changing it.

First stage of mods, rims (had horrible rims on when bought), pfc d-jetro, injectors and coilies.

Then i wanted more power so in went a twin scroll setup, vipec v88 and retuned (never going back to this tuner) for powercruise 2010 - motor didn't quite go bang bu drove it home without diagnosing the issue and destroyed a fresh turbo on the way home on the second day.

so it sat around for a couple of months before even removing anything, then finally stripped it down only to find a small swimming pool of oil on top of piston 3 and 4.

Some months after that the shopping began and the list goes a little something like this;

tomei 260 in, 270 out pro cams lash type

cp pistons 9.0:1

bc 1mm over sized intakes valves

New 3076r .82 twin scroll turbo purchased - this time from ATP.com much better quality on the welds and rear housing is a much better fit and actually 3" v-band unlike the previous locally bought turbo.

There's probably a whole lot more i have forgotten but you get the idea!

Then the car was sent off to get custom intercooler pipes, dump pipe, screamer pipes and run in tune.

Sean tuned her to 16psi for first stage as we want to make sure everything was holding together and no leaks, so far so good! 16psi 353hp I cant remember what NM it made but enough to have fun.

just wondering if anyone has successfully installed ksport rear brakes ons14/15 and are you able to use the standard hand brake?

I know they say you cant and can only use a hydro hand brake, but would it work if i changed over to a skyline rear brake setup?

any info would be good, yes i know ksport aint the best but surely it can be made to work as normal.

haven't bought anything yet but worst case i'll just change over to some brembo's but unsure still.

hi,

just wondering if anyone has fitted a velo bucket seat to their s13/14/15 and which seat rails did you find fits best?

I' am currently about to install it with buddy club rails but the seat sits way to high and the right hand shoulder side of the seat hits the door already. I don't want to modify them as rails are not mine.

any help would be appreciated, thanks!

okay so as i pulled into the parking lot at work today i took off in 1st gear real easy and car sounded like it dropped 1 or 2 cylinders, started spitting and back firing really bad and shaking really bad! barely made any power to move the car so i parked it then waited for the old man to come around and check it out...

there was fuel in the car but when we checked the injector harness for current pulse with a l.e.d light thingy and tried to turn the car on there was no flash coming from the l.e.d! which obviously means there is no electricity running to the injectors?

we removed the pfc from the passenger kick panel and layed it on the foot area still connected.(we realized it was not sitting snug and was moving around) <-- this hasn't been touched since it was installed last year in october/november as there is no need for me to touch it.

unplugged the CAS plug and gave it abit of a clean and still nothing changed.

so as i was getting annoyed with the problem i suggested putting in more fuel as my tank was sitting on 1/4 tank even tho the reason i put the walbro in was so i can use all off my tank. After adding more fuel the second time we tried to start it up the f*$ker came back to life.

I double checked that the sock was still on and its all sweet! im pretty sure the pump not sucking up fuel cant effect the electricity running to the injectors.

any idea's WHAT THE F&$K this problem is?? anyone had it before?
