  1. Hi guys after a year or so break im starting to work on my car again. We tried to use my z32 maf to diagnose a problem on a mates z32 and we think its cooked. Im changing the turbo to a 2876 with 4" intake so i need to refabricate a dose pipe. Was thinking about converting to one of the new vq or r35gtr afms and welding it in on the cold side plumbing. I've read vq works better but vq35s are renowned for afm problems. Vq30 maxima ones are same voltage variables and a common fix for pathfinders and so on are these the way to go or just put an r35 one in it'll never make enough power to be a

    Ill check if i have a spare pink think ive only got oranges, purples n greens. With afm un plugged it shouldn't rev so no issue there but id definitely be looking at replacement if you get it passed idle does it hit a wall at 2200? Find nissans magic number for farked afms is around 2k break down under load.
  9. Also if a known good ca box comes up simply swap the bellhousing and nulon does a smooth shift additive for 15 bucks n ive had good luck with it.
  10. If staying ca ive got two sets of direct replacement 550 n 650 injectors 255s n 040s and turbo manifolds new stock clutch etc i can do for a couple hundred. No spare manual boxes sorry but have clutch pedal master lines n slave too.

  12. How you mould the fenders dude is do all your marking out put a bullsheet amount of tecs all the way through til its flush. Mix up heaps of that metal reinforced fibreglass putty smear it on the factory panel nice n thick. Then puy some lines of sikaflex on the guard. Screw fender onto wet fibreglass all the way round . Itll squeeze bulk out around the edges. Then drag the fibreglass over the guard and screws. Let it set then sound out screw tops and remove screws. You can use a dynabraid with 40 but its slow i used a 120 grit sanding disc on the grinder to knock it all down first sand down ca

  14. Yeah lots of work thanks man. Ca decision was im not to keen on sr's and i have plans for a 9000 rpm period correct hks catalogue rb20 in the 31 so wasnt on board with two rb cars. Honestly if it wasn't impossible to find an fj when i wanted one for my 180b i would of gone that. Just excited to finally have something finished n e85 should be fun. Starting to get nervous though built 3 motors now but its the first one that'll be ran up ha.
