    Running weird..

    cheers for the input guys, smashed in a new o2 sensor. checked out my AFM - both elements were intact and not really even that dirty - gave them a clean anyway. still runs like sheet. I suppose i cant rule out the AFM - it was clean - but doesn't mean it not completely fracked. will try source another to swap and test. Will check for intake leak. between 2-3k it just boggs down - too much fuel..
  2. Hey guys, Car seems to be acting strange. need some advice, opinions ect. The problem used to be intermittent - that is to say it would happen like 2-3 times a fortnight.. but now is happening quite often. Car starts fine cold - then after about 25 mins driving it will get a high idle, about 2.5k revs. Very hard to get away from the lights - that is she boggs down - blows black smoke, needs really high revs to take off, like 3-4k.     Took it to another workshop. Managed to finally get it off with a rattle gun, then 3/4 breaker bar and monster long pipe. Had to drive home with no nut on axle as obviously the *rabbit* wasnt guna go back on. balls'd it out in 3pm traffic from joondalup all the way kingsley taking back streets, holding up traffic doing 30kph. bearing didn't collapse which was pretty good - axle stayed in there with no nut holding it. noise of the bearing was pretty hektik. glad the *rabbit* is off. picking up shaft and nut from denzo monday morning. http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/2342/20120

    nissan wants $8.80 each for an axle nut - which i suppose isnt toooo bad - being for nissan that is. but no stock in the country, and minimum order of 5 from japan, 2-3 week delivery. what the frack am i going to do with 5 axle nuts? frack me

    Haha cheers everybody for your input and suggestions. It is much appreciated. Man this is the most retarded sheet. One simple nut. The passengers side came off with just the breaker alone.. No pipe/oxy/rattle required. Marshal that idea is hell good hahaa Who wants to come over and try? Byo breaker. I fracked two of mine already. I do think a 3/4 sliding tee breaker may do it though.. If anyone has one + socket they can lend?

    Does anybody know the size of the axel nut? ie. M26x1.5, M28x1.5 ? Or would nissan be the best place to source it with out fracking around. I think the fracker is a flange nut type? Going to gouge the *rabbit* off as soon as i can get my hands an another oxy..

    trying to do this the most efficient way without having to replace too many parts.. Im thinking my only hope is remove the knuckle + hub, handbrake assembly and shaft in one piece off the car then just CAREFULLY gouge the nut off of the shaft - trying not to damage the hub. chances are ill blow out some of the shaft - im thinking the hub maybe be ok.. so worse case a new shaft and rear hub..

    just realised if i replace everything im also going to need an r33 drum handbrake too.. as this will be stuck between the hub and the knuckle. replacing all that gear is going to be pricey for the sake of one fracking nut. there has to be a way to get the *rabbit* off. if i remove everything so its off the car and then perhaps gouge it off with the oxy and gouging tip. using the die grinder will take fracking hours - likewise trying to drill a hole into the nut.. marhsall - havent ever heard of a nut splitting tool - i will google that sheet now. any other ideas?

    took it to another workshop. workshop guy told me if this doesnt get it off nothing will. big *rabbit* 3/4 drive rattle gun. didnt budge. im thinking im going to have remove the whole nuckle and drive shaft in one piece and replace it - hub and all. frack me. does anybody have a spare rear drivers side knuckle, shaft and 5 stud hub lying around?..
