Not that any of us speed that is…

So anything above 7km/h over the speed limit will flash you? I take it will work the same as normal speed cameras depending on if there is more than 1 car in the photo they will scrap it.

Its not speed. they only go off for people who try run the flashing red lights when the boom gates come down and up. Had some middle aged commoracer take off while boom gate was only half up and got flashed by those cameras. Other then that have been and seen people go through it at well over the limit with no image taken.

Correct. Not a speed camera, just a red light camera. There are a few down the armasheet line, so be aware.

It's something like $250 and 4 points for one of them as well and they are not sent out by the DPI, but by a rail section.

Workmate got done in one of the work cars.

Like when the gates are 3/4 way up at 5am and you start creeping to take off as you sit on the line, they go off.

Glad i never copped a ticket for doing that, Lousy Welshpool rd.

Picture may have had a fair bit of sideways and smoke in it after i launched to escape the flashing went off about 10 times in 3 or so seconds ahhaha

Also herd on the radio that that 130'km pass through was in a new porsche ahahha Unlucky =P

hate to be dull, but trying to get through the booms when the lights are flashing is stupid...

To me, that's a common sense camera and is not actually there for revenue.

it was 5am, on the way to work, no cars and the train had passed onto welshpool station, comming from oat street.( No immediate danger)

And wasnt really trying to get through, just started creeping and bang.

Just saying however, in my case they were pretty sensitive.

damn, yeah well that intersection is the one in the news that pinged the porsche driver so i'm pretty sure its got your picture.

Doubt it requires film either, most likely digital.

slow down for intersection, put the boot in after you've crossed it

or...

tyre + fuel + spark =

what if you climbed up and waved your hand infront of the camera real fast?

LOL..hahah but that be pretty funny if it just started randomly snapping the pics..before you do it. make sure no one is around watching you.. or you will look like a homo..hanging from the camera waving madly LOL ><

are those new cameras using laser light or something? can it be detected? guessing not seeing though how much they spent on them
