Mauler 0
SO i thought my clutch pedal bracket was stuffed, and bought a Nismo one online that i was assured was for an s13. Long story short... it was the wrong one... and they dicked me around with returning it. Now need help identifying it so i can get it out of my garage and get some money back for it. See attached pictures as compared to my standard s13 bracket.
Mauler 0
And picture number two... Note the difference on the right hand side (where the spring mounts)
CanCer 26
Awesome, was thinking about doing a thread on this sometime soon so. Can we get it pinned? Who makes this? I know it's a grill for S14 Series 1, but not who makes it.

Does the clutch pedal look like the one on ur 14 kiddo? as i want to resell it and get some money back lol. And I have seen ur grill before... but not sure where. I thought u were gonna change to s14a front anyway?
volt_bite 140
s14 one: http://i1.frsimg.com/images/detailed_images/Nismo_46550-RSS40_0112466565214a4e7809960e9.jpg s13 one: http://i2.frsimg.com/images/detailed_images/Nismo_46550-RS521_03.jpg Looks pretty similar to the s13 one to me. I'll have to check my one, i took some pictures before i put mine in. What is the part number they provided you, have you tried that? Part numbers are here: http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competi...tch/lineup.html Note that SR20de and sr20det, s14, s15 all have different part numbers. Mauler 0
Hmmm you make an interesting point there Marshall. Well my s13 was originally auto... maybe KYP used a different pedal assembly when they did the conversion. I know they apparently used an s14 gearbox... so maybe they used a different clutch pedal... I wonder why DE and DET use different ones? Maybe i could just get the spring part from nissan and use the nismo one after all...? And they didn't give me a part number
volt_bite 140
Well lets think about this. Why wouldnt it fit? The bracket attaches to the clutch master cylinder, and the pedal and bolts in under the dash. So which part isnt connecting? As you say there is a good chance that maybe they didnt use a s13 pedal? Is that whats not fitting up? otherwise I would say you could just get a s13 pedal or something. It would be great if u did have an s14 box, they are argueably stronger than an s13. This is the part that holds the spring that clips onto the clutch pedal itself. I tried taking the spring assembly off the one that was in my car, but the spring doesn't fit. The pedal itself bolts onto the Nismo one no problem, it is just the spring that is causing the issue. Everything else is the same apart from where this spring sits, as you can see it is offset compared to the one i took out. I obviously need a new spring, but i'm unsure as if i'll need a new clutch pedal as well, without seeing where the spring that is intended to go in the Nismo/s13 one fits. And well.. KYP told me that it was an s14 box... so it should be i guess. Any way to check that you know of?

Anyone? And Ewan, it doesn't look like the one on my 14, but I am a bit of a spastic and it is dark so.

Mauler 0
Here's an interesting one... Need the part number or official name of the rubber seal that goes between the inlet manifold and the injectors. Need to arrange some new ones as i suspect mine might be a bit hard and causing a vacuum leak. Any help greatly appreciated
CanCer 26
Tried telling Nissan you need the little rubber seal that goes between the inlet manifold and the injectors? The chick at Nissan Parts in Bunbury used to be pretty awesome like that, she'd just look it up on FAST and you could point to what you wanted =P Otherwise I'm none too sure. Picture time so we know you're tlaking about?
