fcruz3r 0
hey all, need some help. I've got an unregistered S14 which I'm trying to get pass pits. It had an aftermarket (possibly veilside copy) bumper which I replaced with Stock OEM bumper. The front mount now sits almost 2 inches below the bumper (looks typical 800x300x76mm core) I could potentially modify the brackets but it's only got around 8mm movement up top before it touches the metal bumper support bracket. Intercooler piping on drivers side also runs under the horizontal fender lower bracket, so can't see how I can move this up any further without getting custom pipes done. How do you guys fit your front mounts so it sits inside the front bumper? Is the S14 bumper shorter than the S13 ...coz didn't have any issues with my previous silvia with the same size core. Thanks all.
Dinna180 121
S14 was meant to have a lip and guessing that covers 2" or you can op for a Navan bumper which will for sure cover the FMIC.
SR14WA 356
http://i.imgur.com/0kWwfHH.jpg Dem feels. Mine is mounted as high as it physically can without fouling, and thats after trimming the bumper. My answer is to ultimately get a lip.
fcruz3r 0
Yea would love a navan bumper but its rare af and $$ I'll probably just try source a lip and spray the ic black to blend it in, not sure if it'll pass pits tho 😞
